Display
The Pixel 6’s 6.4-inch panel is a little bigger than the Google Pixel 7’s 6.3-inch OLED screen. Both have a punch-hole for the front-facing camera and Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus to prevent scratching. However, There’s a 25% increase in brightness in Pixel 7 which has improved the Pixel 7’s display. Increasing the brightness improves visibility, especially during midday observations.
Design
The back of the Pixel 7 is more toned down. Instead of the glass used in the Pixel 6, the 7 is built of metal and has a more polished appearance. The Pixel 7 Pro comes in the hues Obsidian (black), Snow (white), and Lemongrass (yellow). By having a different color for the camera bar, each of them offers some contrast to the device.
Hardware
Pixel 7 has a few new features, it includes Google’s newest and best processor, the Tensor G2. Google claims that it completes AI tasks 60% faster than the Pixel 6’s original Tensor. It is also thought to be more energy-efficient.
The memory setups of the two devices are identical. Along with 8GB of RAM, you get storage space of either 128GB or 256GB. None of the phones offer expandable storage.
Camera
The Pixel 7 has two cameras on its rear. Additionally, the resolution has not changed. You receive a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP primary camera. 2x optical zoom is now possible with the main sensor, Real Tone has been improved, and Night Sight operates twice as quickly.
