Apple’s Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 Earbuds Officially Unveiled: Currently Available in the United States and India
Apple had already shared that it will be launching its next Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds this year in 2025 and late last month its key specs as well as product images were shared online. Now, it has been officially unveiled and made available for purchase in the US and India.

The newly-introduced Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds has been designed especially for athletes who require real time data of their health and performance, and it offers heart-rate monitoring to serve this purpose. The device equips itself with precision-crafted optical sensors that pulse green LED light over 100 times and based on the light reflected back, the heart rate is calculated. Years of extensive research that was conducted for the Apple Watch and the continued development to reduce its size to 1/16 times were major efforts put into the making of this product, along with 1,500 hours of rigorous testing with almost a 1,000 athletes.
On the compatibility side, it works with both iOS and Android as well as with a few other selected fitness equipment with the help of Bluetooth connectivity. Users will also be able to sync the earbuds with apps like Open, Nike Run Club, Runna, Ladder, and Slopes. On the audio side, bespoke acoustic architecture, active noise cancelling, transparency mode, adaptive EQ, and personalized spatial audio are key specs. Each earbuds also equip a voice accelerator and three advanced microphones for better calling experience.
Speaking more, the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds device is powered by the Apple H2 chip, and features ultimate secure-fit ear hooks. Additionally, it also has on-device controls and volume rockers. The device is now 20% lighter in weight and is sweat and water resistant too. About its battery life, it is claimed to offer 10 hours of playback time on each earbuds, with up to 45 hours of total playback using the charging case.
The latest Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds is currently available in the US and Indian markets at USD 249.99 and INR 29,900 pricing, with four color choices – Jet Black, Quick Sand, Hyper Purple, and Electric Orange. The box will include the earbuds, silicon ear-tips in five sizes, wireless charging case, quick start guide, and the warranty card. To note, the power adapter and USB type-C cable are sold separately.
