India’s leading wearables company, boAt, is preparing to launch a new TWS earbuds device and the launch date has now been confirmed. Via its listing on the Flipkart shopping platform, a few of its key specs have also been revealed.

The boAt Airdopes 161 Pro Buds that is soon going to make its debut in the Indian market will be arriving in three different colors Black, Dark Blue, and Green, featuring an ergonomic design language and an IPX5-rated sweat-resistant body.
Speaking of its specs, the device will be equipped with a pair of 10 mm drivers and will offer the brand’s signature sound experience to its users. For a better calling experience, the earbuds also have dual microphones with ENx technology. With a 60ms low latency, Beast Mode is also supported on the device, catering to the needs of gamers.
Connectivity features include multiple connectivity support (enabling users to connect two devices at a time), Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.3, and IWP(Insta Wake N’ Pair) technology. A one-touch voice assistant for OK Google and Siri is also there on the device.
Regarding the battery life, a playtime of up to 50 hours is claimed. There is also an ASAP Charge feature which makes the earbuds capable of delivering a usage time of 150 minutes with just 10 minutes of charging. It can be charged via the USB type-C port at the bottom.
About the price, Flipkart’s listing reveals the product to have an actual list price of Rs. 4,490, but it will likely be made available at a special price of Rs. 999. The listing also points to a lot of bank offers, as well as other benefits too.
The official launch will take place on the 11th of January 2024 at 12PM local time. The details concerning when it will be put up for sale will most probably be shared later, after the release.
