Motorola’s Moto Buds 600 Appears on Multiple Certification Platforms: Few Key Specs and Images Revealed

The Lenovo-owned consumer electronics maker, Motorola, is working on a TWS earbuds and this upcoming device may soon hit multiple global markets. Pointing to its possible imminent launch, the earbuds has received different global certifications.

Moto Buds 600 – May Launch Soon

The Moto Buds 600 earbuds bears the model number of “XT2441-1” and as mentioned, it has been certified by multiple certification bodies including the WPC, CMIIT, FCC, TUV Rheinland, UL Demko, and Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications authorities.

It has received the Wireless Power Consortium(WPC) certification with the QI-ID of “QI-20774”, and an image of the charging case has been listed on the database, revealing a boxy design language. The device has been certified by the CMIIT authority with the approval certificate number of “2024-1259”. Some details listed on the CMIIT database are frequency tolerance of ≤20ppm, frequency range of 2400 – 2483.5 MHz, transmit power of ≤20dBm(EIRP), occupied bandwidth of ≤3 MHz, and spurious emission limits of ≤-30dBM.

Coming to the FCC listing, it has been spotted on the certification database with the FCC ID of “IHDT6AB1”, and a schematic image pointing to more design aspects have been revealed. The same boxy design having a USB type-C charging interface and a pair button at the center are notable features. Moreover, the earbuds is revealed to have an in-ear design with angular tips.

Regarding the TUV Rheinland and UL Demko certifications, the device has certification numbers of “JPTUV-124050-M1” and “DK-149050-UL” respectively. These listings point to specs like 42.5 mAh batteries within each of the earbuds, and a 510 mAh battery inside the charging dock. The TUV certification also mentions of a 10W output charge.

About the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications certification, the device has a construction design certification number of “202- J K M 126”, and the real life images of both the earbuds and the charging case are given on the database. Similar design aspects have been revealed, and additionally the earbuds is suggested to have a physical button on it. The earbuds length is around 20mm, while the width of the charging dock maybe less than 50mm. Also to add, this certification also confirms the launch of the first Motorola TWS earbuds – the Moto Buds 600 in Japan as well.

Motorola already has an earbuds model with the moniker – Moto Buds 600 ANC priced $99 that is available in certain global markets, and it is likely that the upcoming Moto Buds 600 earbuds may probably be priced at a similar or lesser price range.
