OnePlus Buds 3 Earbuds Certified by the Canadian REL Certification Authority
The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, OnePlus, is soon going to launch a new TWS earbuds device globally with the moniker – “OnePlus Buds 3”. Followed by its FCC certification, the brand’s upcoming earbuds have received the Canadian REL certification.

OnePlus Buds 3 – Canadian REL Certification
The upcoming OnePlus Buds 3 earbuds have been certified by the Canadian REL certification authority with the certificate number – “12739A-E509A”, and have been listed on the database with the model number – “E509A”. The certification platform mentions the device as a “wireless earbud”, but none of its specifications have been revealed.
Previously, the renders images and expected specifications of the earbuds were shared online, and with the same model number of E509A, the device made it to the FCC certification database as well.
Just to add, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 has also been registered for trademark.
OnePlus Buds 3 – Expected Specifications
Speaking about some of its specifications, the upcoming earbuds design-wise look similar to the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, with a slight difference in its metallic finish. It is also expected to equip itself with a pair of 10.4mm woofers and 6mm tweeters and may support a 45dB active noise cancellation feature. The earbuds are said to be IP55-rated, whereas the charging case would likely be IPX5-rated. Other expected features are Google Fast Pair, dual connection support, and Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.3.
The battery capacity of the device has been confirmed by its FCC certification. The charging case will be backed by a 520 mAh battery, while the earbuds will each pack 58 mAh batteries. Regarding the battery life, with ANC turned on, the earbuds will probably last for about 6 hours, which can be expanded to up to 22 hours with the charging case. Without the ANC, the earbuds are expected to offer an even longer battery life of 9 hours, expandable to up to 33 hours.
