Realme Buds Air 6 series gets listed on Realme China website along with JD.com, reservations now open

Realme was poised to launch its next series of earbuds called Realme Buds Air 6 and Air 6 Pro. Both of these earbuds have been spotted on several certification websites including, SDPPI, BIS, SIRIM, and Elements. Earlier we thought these earbuds would be launched in the global market first, but Realme has listed these earbuds on their official website for China and on JD.com. The listings do reveal the specs that these earbuds carry, but one thing is missing from it which is the Pricing. Probably, Realme may announce these earbuds to launch alongside the Realme GT Neo 6.

But in the meantime, I have all the specs of these earbuds.

Realme Buds Air 6 and Air 6 Pro Specs

Both earbuds support LHDC 5.0, AAC, and SBC audio codecs but the pro variant has LDAC high-definition for better audio quality. You will get Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) of up to 50 dB with  4000Hz ultra-wideband noise reduction in both earbuds. Realme also claims that both these earbuds offer Adaptive scene-based noise reduction, meaning they can reduce the noise as per your surroundings. Both earbuds offer 6 mics with AI noise reduction. Both earbuds come with a fast charge option, which can give you 7 hours of playback time with a 10-minute recharge. For gamers especially, latency has always been an issue and these earbuds will offer a low latency rate of 55ms(milliseconds). Also, these earbuds are IP55 dust and splash-resistance certified. The Pro and the nonpro both support Realme Link App, from where you can customise touch functions, equaliser, and much more.

Now coming to the difference between the two, Realme Buds Air 6 12.4mm dynamic titanium-plated driver for better lows and mid frequency. On the other hand, the pro variant comes with an 11mm woofer and a 6mm micro-planar tweeter. There is also a 3D spacial sound effect present in the Pro variant which is missing from the other one.

The battery life on the Pro variant is also better offering up to 7.5 hours (ANC on) and Up to 10 hours (ANC off) without the charging case and Up to 28 hours (ANC on) and Up to 40 hours (ANC off) with a charging case. The nonpro will give you 1.5 hours less without the case and 2 hours less with the charging case but with ANC on. With ANC off both will offer the same playbacktime with or without the charging case.
