The rumoured Beats Studio Pro over-the-ear headphone has finally been unveiled which is the first pair of over ears that Beats has launched since Studio3 in 2017. Design, quality and features have significantly been improved which we will cover in this article as we will proceed.
Design and specs
Starting from the design of Beat Studio Pro has a premium design featuring synthetic leather that Apple says is good for all-day comfort. “With Beats Studio Pro, we’ve refined the design and completely reengineered the headphone to bring consumers our most impressive over-ear offering yet,” said Oliver Schusser, vice president of Beats and Apple Music. Its 40mm driver has been engineered in such a way that it delivers distortion-free sound even at high volumes. You get to listen to a balanced sound profile because of its digital processor that makes sure to optimise the final frequency response.
Its Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode can be switched at a single touch thus giving you control over the external sound. Its Active Noise Cancellation feature monitors the noise in real time to filter and cancel it whereas Transparency Mode lets the external sound mix with the music. Spatial Audio Music, head tracking and 360 surround sound makes sure to deliver you cinema-like sound. The headphones are compatible with Apple and Android devices as well. You can easily locate your lost headphones using Find My Device and Fine My. It will also keep on receiving software updates and new features automatically and if you are using it with an Android device it can be downloaded from the Beats app for Android.
You get multiple options to connect it to your device which includes Class 1 Bluetooth, USB-C, and 3.5 mm analogue input for wired audio sources. With up to 40 hours of battery life Beat Studio Pro keeps you immersed in your favourite music. Every listener has a different kind of preference and for them, it comes with three distinct sound profiles. Signature profile for balanced tuning, Entertainment profile for heightened experience and Conversation profile for phone calls and podcasts.
Availability and price
It is listed for $349.99 on Apple’s official website for the USA. It comes in four different colour options Sandstone, Navy, Deep Brown, and Black colour. Delivery for the headphone has not yet started and will start soon and buyers will also be able to buy it from the Apple Store also.
