Sony officially announces to launch new earbuds in the Indian market on September 27th, could be Sony WF-1000XM5
The Japanese electronics manufacturer Sony is widely known among consumers for introducing some of the best audio products in the market. Sony has always been raising its standards by unveiling earbuds that arrive with cutting-edge technology, great sound quality, and the best noise-canceling features. Well, the company has recently launched Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds in the global market and now the company might soon launch these earbuds in the Indian market also.
As officially announced by Sony India, their latest earbuds will be unveiled on September 27th at 2:00 PM and the launch will be live streamed on the company’s official YouTube channel.

Though the moniker name is not disclosed by the company the teaser image looks quite similar to Sony WF- 1000XM5 earbuds.
As per the caption used by the company, it appears that the earbuds will be supporting a Noise cancellation feature that cuts the outside noise enhancing the user experience and offers clarity while listening to music or on a call. Sony has also used the tagline “ The Best Silence Drops” for these upcoming earbuds. Well whether these upcoming earbuds are Sony WF-1000XM5 or not will only be confirmed after the official launch on September 27th.
Sony WF-1000XM5 has already made its debut in the global market the specifications of the earbuds are already known to us.
Sony WF-1000XM5: Specifications
The XM5 features 20% enhanced ANC than the XM4. It is equipped with an 8.4 mm Dynamic Driver X. Additionally, the buds are supported by Sony V2 and QN2e chips.
In terms of audio quality, it presents 24-bit audio processing. To add to it, it offers high-performance analog amplification.
The battery life of the earbuds is to be appreciated as it offers about 1 hour of playback time with a mere 3-minute charge. As a whole, it is capable of providing an 8-hour battery backup with ANC. With additional power from the charging case, the backup can be achieved for up to 24 hours.
Head gestures and quadruple taps to control volume are some other additional features. In terms of its connectivity, it features Bluetooth 5.3. The earbuds will be available in Black and Silver colors.
In the global market, these earbuds are priced at $299.99 in the global market and if our assumptions turn out to be true then the company might launch these earbuds in the Indian market in a price range between Rs.20k-Rs.25k.
