SONY WF-C510 truly wireless earbuds launched in India for a special launch price of Rs 3,990, to go live for sale from 26 September 2024

Sony India’s truly wireless earbuds lineup has now received an expansion with the launch of the WF-C510. The WF-C510 has been launched for a special launch price of Rs 3,990. Additionally, with select credit cards, you can also avail up to Rs 1,000 cashback. This offer will be valid till October 30, 2024. The earbuds will be available for purchase from 26 September 2024 at Sony retail stores, Sony’s official e-store, major electronic stores, and e-commerce platforms.

The WF-C510 comes in a more compact form in comparison to the previous models. Along with it, it also brings enhanced comfort and stability to the table, which makes it a more convenient choice even for smaller ears.

Design: Speaking of the earbud design, it draws inspiration from ear shape data collected since 1982. The makers have presented an ergonomic design with a matte finish for the WF-C510. Additionally, a flat and wide surface button is provided for easy and uninterrupted music control.

Sony also stayed aligned with their commitment to sustainability and made the earbuds environment-friendly. They have used recycled plastic to build the product. Moreover, the packaging is done without the use of any plastic.

The WF-C510 presents four colour options Yellow, Blue, White, and Black.

Sound Quality: Now, talking about the sound quality of the product, the WF-C510 uses Sony’s DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine). This provides high-quality audio throughout all frequencies. Additionally, one can enjoy 360 Reality Audio and gain an immersive experience.

Battery, Playback, and Modes: To charge the earbuds, you get a compact cylindrical charging case. This has the capacity of providing up to 11 hours of battery life to the buds and also provides an additional 11 hours of charge availability. A 5-minute quick charge will let you experience up to 60 minutes of playback. The charging case requires about 1.5 hours to charge the buds completely.

The earbuds are further equipped with Ambient Sound Mode, which lets you hear surrounding sounds even while listening to music. The playback time of the buds is up to 8 hours with Ambient Sound Mode on and 11 hours without Ambient Sound Mode. Additionally, it features a “Voice Focus” function which provides clarity to voice by reducing background noise.

You can pair your earbuds with the Sony | Headphones Connect app and customise settings like EQ according to your preference.

Additional Features: Some more additional features include the likes of Multipoint Connection (allows pairing of two Bluetooth Devices simultaneously), and Quick Access for easy Spotify Control.

The earbuds are IPX4 water resistance. The earbuds weigh about 4.6 g each, and the case weighs about 31 g.
