Xiaomi’s Redmi-Branded Buds 5 Series and Watch 4 Global Launch Confirmed for this Month
Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of the Buds 5 series and Watch 4 in the global market. All these latest devices will be unveiled this month globally.

Redmi Buds 5 Series and Redmi Watch 4 – Global Launch
The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Xiaomi, has already launched its Buds 5 series (comprising of the Buds 5 and Buds 5 Pro earbuds) and the Watch 4 smartwatch in the Chinese market. These three newly launched Redmi branded devices have now been confirmed to make their way to the global market as well and will be released alongside the Redmi Note 13 series on the 15th of January 2024.
To add, very recently Xiaomi introduced three of its Redmi Note 13 5G series smartphones in India (debuted in China before), and the devices will be put up for their official sale four days later on the 10th of January 2024.

Redmi Buds 5
The Redmi Buds 5 earbuds have an ergonomic design with a pair of 12.4 mm drivers and two microphones. The device supports features like three-level noise reduction, transparency mode, four-speed EQ sound adjustment, active noise reduction of 46dB, wide-band noise reduction range of 2kHz, a self-developed anti-wind noise algorithm, and Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.3. It packs a total battery charge of 40 hours, and a quick charge feature (5 minutes = 2 hours of listening time).
Redmi Buds 5 Pro
The Redmi Buds 5 Pro features a porcelain coaxial dual unit with an 11mm larger titanium plated woofer and a 10mm thinner piezoelectric ceramic tweeter. Other features on the device include 52dB noise reduction depth, 4kHz ultrawide noise reduction range, 20Hz-40000Hz ultra-high bandwidth range, 3-mic AI call barrier reduction, LHDC 5.0, Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, Low Energy Bluetooth audio, 49ms full-link low latency, and Xiaomi HyperConnect cross-device support. A total battery life of up to 38 hours is assured and the quick charge feature (5 minutes = 2 hours listening time).
Redmi Watch 4
The Redmi Watch 4 has a 1.97″ display screen (square in shape), and a frame made of aluminum alloy (with a stainless steel rotating crown). It is powered by Xiaomi HyperOS and has features such as cross-terminal intelligent connection, focus reminder, and multi-system adaptation. Customizable screen dials, 200+ watch faces, and quick-release wristbands are a few other specs. 150+ sports modes, multiple health features, Bluetooth calling, and multifunctional NFC offline payment are also part of the device. A 20-day battery life is claimed for the smartwatch.
