Back in October 2020 Google One added a VPN(Virtual Private Network) feature as a free perk. During the pixel 7 s launch event on October 6 company announced that it would bundle VPN by Google One with the Pixel 7 series.
VPN by Google One will be available at no extra cost as long as your phone continues to receive software updates.
All the new flagship phones by Google will bundle with a free VPN.
Anyone with a Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 pro will immediately receive the VPN service without Google One subscription.
The feature adds a layer of protection against hacker and keep your phone safe from them and will able to secure their data. It will also hide your IP address so that third parties won’t be able to track your location.
This move will make pixel 7 and pixel 7 pros the first smartphones to include a free VPN connection.
This decision is the latest move to secure Google’s mobile data even more.
The offer is limited to some countries which include the US, Australia, Japan, the UK, and Europe.
