Fujifilm India unveiled the new addition to the GFX Series cameras, the FUJIFILM GFX100 II mirrorless camera with 102 MP sensor at the Broadcast India Show 2023

In the latest developments, Fujifilm India launched the new FUJIFILM GFX100 II camera in India. It is the latest addition to Fujifilm’s GFX Series mirrorless digital cameras. The camera was unveiled at the Broadcast India Show 2023, held at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, India. Mr. Koki Wada, Managing Director of Fujifilm India was present at the event.

The new Fujifilm GFX100 II features a powerful 102 MP high-speed image sensor, “GFX 102MP CMOS II HS”. This is supported by a high-speed image processing engine, “X-Processor 5”.

The Fujifilm GFX100 II is the first GFX Series camera, which features AI-based subject-detection AF along with the latest predictive AF algorithm. It is also the first GFX series camera that supports 8K/30P video and has 4K/60P 4:2:2 10-bit video recording capabilities internally.

Along with this, with the new “Video Format” mode, you can choose from multiple video recording formats. Some of these are Premista, 35mm, and anamorphic (35mm) with a mount adapter.

The camera body includes an Ethernet port, HDMI Type-A port, and USB-C terminal. This will enable improved connectivity with external devices for diverse peripheral combinations.

The new model also comes equipped with improved burst mode performance. The enhanced stabilization capability can reach up to 8 frames per second and is upgraded to a five-point axis system.

Reports have asserted that Assem Bajaj, renowned Director of Photography will shoot a short film with the new FUJIFILM GFX100 II camera.
