Foldable devices started to hit their stride in the last few years, and the competition is heating up in 2022 with updated foldable hardware from Samsung and Motorola.
Now Google could also be preparing its own entry with Google pixel fold by next year.
As it’s just a rumor so there’s no information about the release date.
Display details have been leaked and they suggest similar specs to Samsung’s galaxy Z Fold4.
Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station says that there will be no notch on the Pixel Fold’s internal screen. The rumor doesn’t mention any specs of the camera in question.
It will go with the company’s own formulated Tensor chip.
There will still be a front-facing and rear camera, speakers, Bluetooth, etc., like any modern-day phone.
The foldable Pixel will have a side-mounted traditional sensor.
The Fold will support unique multitasking features that the competition, and smaller-screen Pixels, don’t currently have.
The fold will run the latest OS at the time, so likely Android 13 or 14.
