Google to most likely release its “Pixel Fold” foldable phone this year, let’s check it out

According to rumors, Google will introduce the “Pixel Fold” foldable smartphone this year. The foldable phone would have a design resembling the OPPO Find N and a Tensor chipset. In light of the increasing competition, Google may introduce a foldable phone before Apple.

Samsung is a well-known mobile phone manufacturer offering a variety of foldable devices. In addition, several companies including Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, and Motorola have introduced foldable technologies.

The patent was initially submitted to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in 2021, according to 91Mobiles. Which also revealed the blueprints for the foldable Pixel phone, but it was just recently made public.

The 7.58-inch internal display of the Pixel Fold will feature a 120 hertz (Hz) screen refresh rate. The inbuilt display is capable of 1840×2208 pixel resolution. Additionally, a maximum brightness of 1200 nits and an average brightness of 800 nits are anticipated for the upcoming Google Pixel foldable phone, although the phone is expected to look similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z fold 4 phones.

The Pixel Fold will go on sale in 2022, according to multiple rumors, even if no additional details have been confirmed as of yet. Google has also declared that the Pixel tablet, which the firm debuted at its October presentation, will ship in 2022. And it is brought under notice that the Google Pixel fold phone could cost about $1399.

With the upcoming Pixel Fold, Google will work hard to keep pace with Samsung. Like its Pixel phones, it is predicted that the tablet will have superb cameras and an inside CPU.
