Have a look at the newest gear unveiled by Roku
Today, Roku unveiled its newest gear, including a new streaming box that will occupy the most affordable position in the lineup and a new subwoofer that will attempt to control the low end. The new Roku Wireless Bass is the biggest of the two launches, both literally and figuratively. It is a cordless subwoofer that you can place wherever in a room to fill out that area of the sound spectrum.
The Wireless Bass isn’t compatible with any other system but Roku or even by itself. You will have to pair it with a Roku Streambar, Roku Wireless Speakers, or with the Roku TV Wireless Soundbar. Your living room or bedroom should start to rumble more after pairing, which should be easy due to Roku’s excellent setup.
Pre-orders for the Wireless bass can be made right now; the device will cost $130 when it becomes available on November 7, 2022. It will coexist with the bigger Roku Wireless Subwoofer, which is still available for $180 and provides a more high-end low-end sound.
The new Roku Express is currently up for preorder and will continue to retail for $30. Expect it to start shipping on October 16. The recently unveiled Roku OS 11.5 will support the new devices. There are many new features there, such as a platform-wide save list, enhanced visual search results, improved voice search, the ability to pair Bluetooth headphones for private listening, and much more.
