Honor Introduces its Pad V9, Watch 5 Ultra, and Earbuds Open Devices Globally at MWC 2025
The leading Chinese consumer electronics maker – Honor has now introduced its latest Pad V9 tablet, Watch 5 Ultra, and the Earbuds Open earbuds in the global market at the ongoing MWC 2025 event. Along with these products, the brand has also unveiled its Alpha Plan and revised the Magic series software policy.

Honor Pad V9
Honor’s Pad V9 tablet has arrived in the global market with a price tag of EUR 449.90 for the 8GB/256GB storage model, with two color options of White and Grey. Speaking of its key specs, the device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Elite chip and runs on the Android 15 based MagicOS 9.0 custom skin. It features an 11.5″ Tandem IPS LCD PaperMatte display with 2.8K screen resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits HBM. A 13MP rear camera with AF and an 8MP selfie camera are its camera specs. It also packs a 10,100 mAh battery with 66W wired fast charge support. SGS Gold Five Star Rating, Smart Bluetooth Keyboard & Magic Pencil 3 support, and a 6.1 mm thin design are its other notable specs.
Honor Watch 5 Ultra
The Watch 5 Ultra has been unveiled as Honor’s first smartwatch with ECG monitoring feature and it is priced at EUR 279. The device comes in Black and Brown colors, and features a 1.5″ AMOLED circular display with Sapphire Glass protection and 1 ~ 60Hz LTPO refresh rate support. It measures 46.3 x 11.4 mm in size and weighs 51.8 grams. Other key features of the device include the MagicOS 7.2 software, 8GB internal storage, multiple health and sports trackers (heart rate, SpO2, sleep, ECG, & 100+ sports modes), diving mode (up to 40 meter), 480 mAh battery (up to 15 days battery life), wireless charging, rotating crown, 10K watch faces, Scenario Service Cards, and an IP68-rated body.
Honor Earbuds Open
About the Honor Earbuds Open, it has been introduced for EUR 149.99 and comes in Polar Gold and Polar Black colors. Notably, it has an open ear design and is claimed to offer better comfort to users. Other key specs are 16mm multi-magnet circuit dynamic driver unit, surround sub-woofer, triple mic system, active noise cancellation, call noise reduction, press & swipe controls, Bluetooth 5.2, dual device connectivity, nearby earbuds discovery, auto-reconnect, AI live translation, find earbuds, and 58 mAh battery in earbuds and 480 mAh battery in charging case.
Other Updates
Regarding the other updates, as mentioned above, Honor also unveiled its Alpha Plan and it is a three step strategy. The three steps begin with ‘the development of an intelligent phone, then open industry boundaries and co-create new paradigm for AI devices in agentic AI era, and finally open human potential boundaries and co-create new paradigm for civilization in AGI era’.
Also, Honor has announced that its Magic series devices in the European market, except the Magic Lite models, will now start receiving up to seven years of OS updates, ensuring longer usability and access to more future features.
