Honor MagicPad Appears on the Geekbench Database Ahead of its July 12 Launch

The former Huawei sub-brand and one of the leading Chinese consumer electronics manufacturers, Honor is preparing for the launch of its most powerful tablet device ever, the Honor MagicPad, and the device is confirmed to launch on the 12th of July, tomorrow at a major product launch event.

Ahead of its launch, the upcoming tablet device from Honor has made its appearance on the Geekbench database, revealing its performance specs.

Honor MagicPad Appears on Geekbench

Digital Chat Station, the well-known tipster on the Weibo platform, has spotted the device on the Geekbench database with the model number, GDI-W09, and the upcoming device has scored a single-core score of 1118 points and a multi-core score of 3585 points.

Apart from the device’s performance specs, the Geekbench database also reveals that the tablet is to run on the Android 13-based operating system with an octa-core processor having a base clock speed of 1.80 GHz. The tipster, Digital Chat Station adds that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset with a RAM option of 16GB.

The Honor MagicPad tablet is also to feature a 13″ IMAX enhanced eye protection display with a 2.8K screen resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The tipster also mentions the device supports a 66W fast charge feature along with spatial audio support. The Honor MagicPad is also going to be the first tablet to feature Honor Super Office and its functionalities.

Recent updates also reveal the tablet to have a dual camera setup at its rear and will be competing with other premium tablets including Apple’s iPad Pro, Microsoft’s Surface Pro 9, and ASUS’ ROG Flow Z13.

Along with the MagicPad tablet, Honor will also be launching the Honor Watch 4, Smart Screen 5 (Smart TV), and the Magic V2 smartphone at the product launch event tomorrow. The MagicPad tablet will also be accompanied by two accessories as well – a keyboard dock and a pen however, it is not sure whether the accessories come with the tablet or will be sold separately.
