Honor Pad V9 Tablet Also Launching This Month in China Along with New GT Phone; Live Images Shared and Listed on Official Website
Honor, the Chinese consumer electronics maker, recently announced the new GT phone launch and following which, the brand has revealed that it will also be unveiling a tablet device as well – Honor Pad V9 (‘Tablet V9’ as per translation) on the same day. The live images of the upcoming tablet have been shared and it is currently listed on the brand’s official website.

Honor Pad V9 – Launching on 16th December in China
As mentioned, Honor will also be launching a new tablet device too on the 16th of December 2024 in China at 7:30 PM local time, the same day it plans to unveil its latest GT phone. The upcoming tablet has been teased with the tagline – ‘It’s lighter, it’s AI’, and it will be made available in three color choices and four storage options.
Speaking of its design, it appears to be similar to an Apple iPad device in terms of design and dimension, and comes in Jade Dragon Snow(White), Mountain Ash(Grey), and Lu Yan Zi(Purple) colors. It has a quad speaker system, with two speakers at the top and two on the bottom (when held in portrait/vertical). There is a USB type-C charging port at the bottom in between the two speakers. The power button is at the top, whereas the volume rocker is at the right (when held in portrait/vertical).
An extra button/sensor can also be spotted on the right side below the volume rocker, which could be a fingerprint scanner or a capture button (not sure and assuming).
The full display as always is flat with quite thick bezels. A front-facing camera has also been added at the center in the bezel (when held in landscape/horizontal), enabling users to get a good angle while taking selfies or while attending a meeting/conference.
At the rear, we can find two individual circular units highlighted with a silver lining. The first one houses the rear camera sensor (has black interior), while the second one has the LED flashlight and ‘AI camera’ marking. The Honor branding is also present at the center of the rear panel and below it, ‘IMAX Enhanced’ has been engraved. Thus the device is pointed out to offer an immersive viewing experience with improved audio and video qualities.
About its official website listing, interested customers can now pre-reserve the device by paying a deposit amount, at the same time also enjoy a CNY 500 offer coupon and freebies (Life Gift Pack + White Honor Classic USB Type-C Earphones). The device can be purchased in four storage options of 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. Only Wi-Fi versions will be available for the tablet.
