iPad Pro featuring M2 chip may release later today! Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman tweet hinted for the new launch tonight

As we all know October is usually the month when Apple following tradition launches a new Mac or an iPad.

And so the tradition may continue with the launch of the iPad Pro with an M2 chip. If the rumors are true then the device may be released quietly later tonight.

The device would be the successor to the 2021 iPad Pro models that were powered by M1 chips.

New iPad models are reportedly having a mild upgrade that is iPad Pro would be equipped with an M2 chip which was released recently in the 2022 MacBook Air model.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman tweeted and hinted about the same.

The company is not expected to host a launch event for new iPad Pro models and it will be announced via a press release on the company’s official website.

Design and display-

The updated iPad Pro models will be available in 11 inches and 12.9 inches. 12.9-inch model is expected to retain the Mini LED display codenamed J617 and J620. The New M2 chip should boost performance by 20% and power efficiency. It will have wireless and MagSafe charging. No home button.

Apple is also reportedly working on a new dock for iPads. It would be similar to the dock that Google introduced recently for its upcoming Pixel tablet. The dock will essentially let the tablet function as a smart display for home accessories and if it’s true then iPads will also rival the Amazon echo show.
