Is Google pixel foldable phone going to be out in 2023?

There have been persistent rumors for years that Google is diligently developing a Pixel folding phone, which may go by the titles Pixel Fold or Pixel Notepad. Initially, it was anticipated to be released in the fall of 2021, followed by a release alongside the Pixel 7 in 2022. However, recent leaks claim it won’t be released until the beginning of 2023. Do we have faith in them?

Will the Google Pixel Foldable Phone release in 2023?

There are many reasons to be skeptical, not the least of which is that Google often misses its deadlines for delivering things. However, Google eventually scheduled the Pixel Watch after years of delays, so we can only hope that the Pixel Notepad will soon do the same. In other words, it won’t happen in 2022.

Google trails Android producers like Xiaomi, Samsung, Motorola, Huawei, OPPO, and Samsung, all of whom have sold numerous foldable phones and over time improved their designs. Depending on when it releases, the Pixel Notepad might have to compete with items like the Galaxy Z Fold 4, so Google won’t have as much leeway for mistakes and experimentation as Samsung did with its original efforts.

Recent launch rumors suggest that the Pixel Notepad will debut in the spring of 2023. We anticipate it to be announced at I/O 2023 with a summer or fall release date, barring any further delays from Google.

After so many delays, it’s easy to lose faith that this phone will ever be released. But it took Google a long time to decide that the Pixel Watch was ready for sale. We remain optimistic because we think Google will take precautions with their initial Pixel foldable phone.

What are the specifications of the New Google Pixel Foldable Phone?

According to the source, the Google Pixel Fold could sport a 5.8-inch cover with a 2K display.

The flagship Tensor 2 processor, which is likely to be included in the Pixel 7 range of devices, will also be used by Google.

This foldable phone will have a 50MP primary camera. Additionally, it has a secondary camera with a Sony IMX787 sensor. The center of the phone will be carved away to accommodate the front camera.

What will be the price of the New Google Pixel Foldable Phone?

Numerous reports claim that Google will set the Pixel Notepad’s pricing at $1,400 to compete with the Z Fold line. That is $400 cheaper than the Z Fold 4 comparison.

With the $599 and $899 Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones, respectively, Google took a similar tack. By providing premium performance in its flagship devices while charging less than the industry standard, Google has won over Android enthusiasts.

Even though the bulk of Z Fold 3 purchasers received their devices through carrier discounts, $1,400 is still much more than most people would ever spend on a phone. The kind of trade-in deals that might be made for Google’s foldable phone will therefore be intriguing to observe.
