From Business Laptops To Gaming Beasts: A Look At MSI’s COMPUTEX 2024

MSI has announced a number of impressive products at recently held COMPUTEX 2024. This list of products includes next-gen AI+ gaming and business productivity laptops featuring the latest Intel and AMD processors, and Claw 8 AI+ Windows 11 gaming handheld devices. Alongside these products, the company has also announced the self-developed new products, and several co-branded products with its partners.  We will see them in detail. 

Prestige and Summit -Business & Productivity Laptops with Intel Core Ultra processors

The company announced the Business and Productivity laptops named Prestige and Summit that are powered by the Intel Core Ultra processors. In comparison to the previous generation, the company says that the latest processor offers up to three times the AI performance. They are equipped with integrated GPU, CPU, and NPU, providing more than 100 TOPS of AI performance. Its high-performance processor boasts an excellent energy efficiency ratio, resulting in lighter, thinner business and productivity laptops with longer battery life, such as the Prestige and Summit. The Prestige series laptops have been announced in three different sizes: 13″, 14″ and 16″. The company says these laptops are not only lightweight but also come with large battery life. Its Prestige 13 AI+ Evo weighs only 990 grams and includes a 75Wh large battery, providing all-day uninterrupted battery life. 

Stealth A16 AI+ and Creator A16 AI+

The company has also introduced the world’s first 16-inch lightweight gaming & creator laptops, Stealth A16 AI+ and Creator A16 AI+. It comes with the next-gen AI, gaming, and content creation capabilities. The laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series Processor with new architecture, integrated graphics, and NPU. This offers up to 3 times better AI performance compared to previous products with new XDNA 2 architecture enabling running the AI and LLM models directly on the device. For a smooth gaming experience, it comes with the new integrated Radeon 800M series graphics unit. The Stealth A16 AI+ and Creator A16 AI+ also come equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics that offer top-tier AI computing power. 

Claw 8 AI+

This is the company’s recently announced world’s first Windows 11 gaming handheld that is powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor. It’s just not the processor that makes it stand out among its competitors because the company says that it has upgraded specifications such as Thunderbolt 4 supported USB C port, enabling tactile feel of LR/RB buttons, increased battery capacity, and it comes with the wall mounted charger. The company has said in its announcement that after its official release a one-month free trial of Xbox Game Pass will also be provided. The company also introduced the limited-edition Claw x Fallout co-branded special edition at COMPUTEX. Its design is inspired by the game’s Vaults, the Pip-Boys worn by Vault dwellers, and robots. The company says that it will come with features like an excellent grip, the largest battery in the industry, superior cooling, and joysticks and triggers equipped with Hall effect sensors. 

Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport & Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport

The company has partnered with the luxury car brand Mercedes-AMG, to launch the Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport co-branded laptop and upgraded Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport. You get to see the reflection of this unique collaboration in a large area of AMG pattern covering the palm rest area, exclusive metal nameplates from MSI and AMG, and the Mercedes-AMG Motorsport logo seen throughout. The Stealth 18 comes equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 graphics chip, with large-area vapor chamber cooling.

New Modern Series

MSI’s modern series laptops are known among its users for their comfortable keyboard and lightweight body. Now the company has announced the new Modern series laptops, available in 13, 14, and 15-inch sizes. 

The pricing details of these devices have yet not been announced though it will be announced soon. Commenting on the launch Eric Kuo, MSI’s Executive Vice President and General Manager of the NB Business Unit said:
