Honor’s Latest MagicBook Pro 16 Models Unveiled in the Chinese Market

Honor has unveiled its new MagicBook Pro 16 Integrated Display Version and MagicBook Pro 16 Independent Display Version laptops in the brand’s home market in China. The two newly introduced models feature similar specs, but with certain configuration changes.

Honor MagicBook Pro 16 Integrated Display Version

The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 Integrated Display Version comes with only the Intel Core Ultra 5 Processor 125H, and is integrated with the Intel Arc Graphics. The device also runs on the Windows 11 Home Chinese Edition. It equips itself with LPDDR5X RAM and has storage options of 16GB/1TB and 24GB/1TB.

For the display, it has an IPS display screen with a screen size of 16″, and has a 16:10 aspect ratio. The display also supports 3072 x 1920 pixels resolution, 226 DPI pixel density, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 500 nits brightness, 1200:1 contrast ratio, and 178° viewing angle.

Other features include an island-style full-sized backlit keyboard, touchpad supporting 5-point touch, 1080P full HD front camera, six speakers, two microphones, spatial audio & DTS sound effects, and fingerprint power button.

On the connectivity side, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax (2.4GHz & 5GHz dual band support), Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB type-C port, two USB type-A ports, Thunderbolt 4 port, HDMI port, and 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack are present. Sensors like hall sensor and light sensor are also part of the system.

Speaking about its build, the device is made with A/C/D surface aluminum alloy with 93% screen-to-body-ratio and about 180° opening & closing angle. It has a length, width, thickness dimension of 354 x 242 x 19.9 mm and weighs 1.79 kg. The bezel size is 2.36 mm for the left and right borders.

Regarding the battery, a 75Wh lithium polymer battery is backed within the laptop, and a 100W USB type-C charging adapter is offered along with it.

Honor MagicBook Pro 16 Independent Graphics Version

The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 Independent Graphics Version will be offered in two processor options – Intel Core Ultra 5 Processor 125H and Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 155H, and the device has the NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU onboard. It runs on the same Windows 11 Home Chinese Version and will be available in 24GB/1TB and 32GB/1TB storage options (LPDDR5X RAM).

The display is an IPS screen itself with the same size of 16″ and aspect ratio of 16:10. 3072 x 1920 pixels resolution, 226 DPI screen density, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 178° viewing angle, 1200:1 contrast ratio, and 500 nits brightness are also some of its display features.

Again, the laptop has the island-style full-size backlit keyboard, 5-point touchpad, 1080P FHD front camera, six speakers, two microphones, spatial audio & DTS sound effects, and a fingerprint power button.

It is made out of the same A/C/D surface aluminum alloy and has an opening & closing angle of about 180°. The screen-to-body-ratio is 93% with narrow bezels of 2.36mm at left and right borders, and it measures 354 x 242 x 19.9 mm in size. The weight of the device is slight heavier and is 1.86 kg.

Finally to the battery, the same 75Wh lithium polymer battery and a faster 200W power adapter are offered on the device.
