Lenovo Officially Unveils Chromebook Duet And Chromebook Duet EDU G2 Laptops

Yesterday Lenovo unveiled two new convertible Chromebooks- Chromebook Duet (11″,9) and Chromebook Duet EDU G2. Both laptops feature almost the same features except few minor differences. Let’s dive in to know all the details.

Chromebook Duet (11″, 9) & Chromebook Duet EDU G2: Features

Both laptops feature a WUXA display that offers a 16:10 aspect ratio, 400 nits brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and arrive with TUV Low Blue light certification. They are powered by MediaTek Kompanio 838 SoC paired with 4/8GB RAM and 64/128GB storage. They run on ChromeOS.

They offer up to 12 hours of battery life while it pack up 5MP front camera and 8MP rear camera. It comes with dual 1W SmartAMP speakers tuned by Waves Audio. Connectivity options include- 2 USB-C 3.2 Gen18 ports, 2 microphone/audio combo jacks, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3. Both models are Energy Star certified, EPEAT gold registered, and come with a 3-month subscription to Gemini Advanced. They feature AI-enabled NPUs. Both the tablets weigh 510g.

Chromebook Duet (11″,9) features a sturdy metal chassis with a soft protective folio. Meanwhile Chromebook Duet EDU G2 features a rugged case and detachable keyboard. Chromebook Duet (11″,9) features a kickstand for easy transitions between laptop and portrait modes. It also includes Lenovo USI Pen 2.

Chromebook Duet EDU G2 arrives with a TPU case, reinforced ports, and spill resistance of up to 360ml. It also comes with a Chrome Education upgrade.
