Lenovo officially unveils Lenovo 100W Gen 5 laptop with Intel N150 processor and up to 8GB LPDDR5-4800 memory
Back in 2023, Lenovo introduced its Lenovo 100W Gen 4 laptop and now after two years the company has unveiled the successor of this laptop- Lenovo 100W Gen 5. The laptop arrives with various upgrades and new features to enhance the user experience.
Lenovo 100W Gen 5: Features
The laptop is powered by Intel N150 SoC and integrated with Intel graphics. It runs on Windows 11 Pro/Windows 11 Pro (National Academic License)/ Windows 11 Home Single Language. It offers up to 8GB LPDDR5-4800 soldered memory, 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, One Drive up to 128GB M.2.2242 SSD while there are two storage slots- UFS on system board and One M.2.2242 PCIe 3.0×4 slot. The device offers HD audio and features 2Wx2 stereo speakers with Dolby Audio, a single microphone, and an HD 720p camera with a privacy shutter and fixed focus.
The laptop is backed by a 47Wh Li-Po battery and supports Rapid Charge with a 65W AC adapter. Users can charge the laptop up to 80% in 1 hour. Regarding its display, it sports an 11.6-inch IPS display that offers HD resolution, 250 nits brightness, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 60Hz refresh rate. The keyboard includes a Copilot Key and a multi-touch touchpad that supports a Precision touchpad. It measures 287x200x19.75mm and weighs around 1.23kg.
Connectivity options include- WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-A port, USB-C port with USB PD, USB-C port with USB PD, and DisplayPort. For security, it includes features like Discrete TPM 2.0, Kensington Nano security slot, BIOS security, and camera privacy shutter. The device comes with various certifications like Energy Star 8.0, EPEAT Gold registered, ErP Lot 6/26, RoHS compliant, and MIL-STD-810H military test passed and ASTM F963 test passed.
