LG Introduces its New Gram 14, 15, 16, 17, Pro, Pro 2-in-1 Laptops 2024 Models
The South Korea-headquartered multinational electronics company, LG, has unveiled its 2024 Gram 14, Gram 15, Gram 16, Gram 17, Gram Pro, and Gram Pro 2-in-1 laptop models. The specifications of the entire series have been revealed as well.

LG’s Gram 14, Gram 15, Gram 16, and Gram 17 New Models
The newest Gram 14, Gram 15, Gram 16, and Gram 17 line-ups as pointed out from their names feature display screens with sizes of 14″, 15.6″, 16″, and 17″ respectively. The Gram 16 and Gram 17 models support a WQXGA resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, while the Gram 14 and Gram 15 models have WUXGA(1,920 x 1,200 pixels) and FHD(1,920 x 1,080 pixels) resolutions. Regarding the other display specs, the Gram 16 and Gram 17 models have up to 400 nits brightness rate with 60Hz/ 31 – 144 variable refresh rate options. The Gram 14 and Gram 15 devices come with a brightness rate of up to 350 nits and 60Hz refresh rate support.
All four models are powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 or Intel Core Ultra 5 processors and are integrated with the Intel Arc graphics. The devices also have 8GB/16GB/32GB LPDDR5X dual channel RAM options(Gram 14 & 15 – 6400 MHz; Gram 16 & 17 – 7467 MHz), and M.2 (2280) dual SSD slots (Gen 4) with storage options ranging from 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, to 2TB. In addition, the four laptop models are also equipped with a mega cooling system.
The Gram 16 and Gram 17 models are also equipped with dual 2.0W stereo speakers (along with Smart Amp – Max 5W). The Gram 14 and Gram 15 devices, on the other hand, have dual 1.5W stereo speakers. All of them also support HD Audio with Dolby Atmos, and have dual microphones.
Of the four, the Gram 16 and Gram 17 models pack a larger 77Wh battery. The Gram 14 and Gram 15 devices have 72Wh battery backup.
Other features include multiple I/O ports, FHD IR webcam, face recognition, LG Gram Link, LG Glance by Mirametrix, and LG Smart Assistant.
LG’s Gram Pro and Gram Pro 2-in-1 New Models
Two models of the Gram Pro laptop are available with display panels of 16″ and 17″. The 16″ variant has two display options OLED WQXGA+(2,880 x 1,800 pixels) and LCD WQXGA(2,560 x 1,600 pixels), with a brightness rate of 400 nits and refresh rate of 48-120Hz(OLED) and 31-144Hz(LCD).
The Gram Pro models are equipped with Intel Core Ultra 7 or Intel Core Ultra 5 processors, with the Intel Arc graphics(iGPU) and NVIDIA RTX 3050 – GDDR6 4GB(dGPU). RAM of up to 32GB(LPDDR5X Max, 7467 MHz, Dual Channel) and Dual SSD (M.2) of up to 1TB (Gen4 NVMe) are supported on the devices.
Other specs are the 77Wh(iGPU)/90Wh(dGPU) batteries, dual cooling systems, stereo speakers (3.0W x 2) with Smart AMP (MAX 5W x 2), Dolby Atmos HD Audio, dual microphones, FHD + IR webcam, LG Gram Link, LG Glance, and LG Smart Assistant.
About the Gram Pro 2-in-1 model, it is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7/Intel Core Ultra 5 processors itself and has the Intel Arc Graphics onboard. It is coupled with LPDDR5X Max 7,467MHz dual channel RAM of up to 32GB and up to 1TB Dual SSD M.2 Gen4 NVMe storage. It is backed by a 77Wh battery.
For the display, LG’s Gram Pro 2-in-1 features a 16″ display screen again with OLED WQXGA+(2,880 x 1,880 pixels) and LCD WQXGA(2,560 x 1,600 pixels) display panel options. A 400 nits brightness rate and 31-144Hz/48-120Hz variable refresh rates are also supported by the display.
Similar to the Gram Pro models, the Gram Pro 2-in-1 also has a dual cooling system, two 3W stereo speakers with Smart AMP (Max 5W x 2), Dolby Atmos HD Audio, dual mics, FHD + IR webcam, various I/O ports, LG Gram Link, LG Glance, and LG Smart Assistant.
