Model numbers of upcoming Galaxy Z Fold5, Flip5 and Galaxy Tab S9 series revealed
It has not been less than a month since Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series was launched globally. But seems like Samsung has some more surprises for its users in 2023. The company is expected to introduce some exciting devices in the second half of this year. These upcoming devices include next-generation foldable phones such as Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series.
According to tipster Anthony who goes by @TheGalox on Twitter Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 5 is being developed under model number SM-F946U, Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be having model number SM-F731U while the Galaxy Tab S9 series are being developed with the following model number:
- Galaxy Tab S9 – SM-X710
- Galaxy Tab S9 Plus- SM-X810
- Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra- SM-X910

Earlier through a few reports, the storage variants of the upcoming Z-series foldable were revealed. The report stated that Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be arriving in 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB storage variants while Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be coming in 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB storage options. Besides this, the other specifications of these smartphones are still not known.
As far as the Galaxy Tab S9 series is concerned, it was earlier revealed by Sammobile that all three models of this series will be launched in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi +5G versions. Also, it was reported that Samsung might bring IP67 rating for dust and water resistance to its upcoming tablets.
The release date of the Galaxy Z series foldable phones and Galaxy Tab S9 series isn’t yet official. But these devices are assumed to release in the second half of 2023 and as the days pass we might get some more information about these upcoming devices.
