The Taiwanese tech company, MSI, has announced its latest Prestige 16 AI series laptop devices in the Indian market. It is said to be made available next year for customers.

MSI Prestige 16 AI Series Laptops Announced for India
The newly announced Prestige 16 AI series from MSI features Intel’s Core Ultra 9 processor(up to), along with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU(up to), and weighs 1.5 kg(on average). The device has a Magnesium-Aluminum alloy chassis and is equipped with a 99.9-watt-hour battery supporting up to PD 3.1 140W fast charging. Some of the other notable features are the new OLED display panels with a 16:10 aspect ratio, various I/O ports, and the latest Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Moreover, to carry out better AI-related tasks, the brand will also be offering the MSI AI Engine to the laptops.
Apart from the 16″ versions, MSI has also announced the Prestige 13 AI Evo laptop, with an Intel Core Ultra processor, 75-watt hour battery, and a total weight of 990 gm.

Prestige 16 AI Studio B1VGG / B1VFG / B1VEG
The B1VGG, B1VFG, and B1VEG models come with two processor options – Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 185H and Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 155H and run on the Windows 11 Home / Windows 11 Pro operating systems. They will support up to 32GB LPDDR5 dual-channel RAM.
On the graphics side, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU 8GB GDDR6 (B1VGG), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU 6GB GDDR6 (B1VFG), and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU 6GB GDDR6 (B1VEG) will be offered. An NVMe M.2 SSD by PCIe Gen4(x4) is also part of the system.
Two display options are there – 16″ UHD+ (3840 x 2400 pixels) and 16″ QHD+ (2560 x 1600 pixels). A single backlit keyboard(White), fingerprint reader, IR webcam, webcam shutter, Kensington Lock, two 2W speakers, three microphones, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 99Whr battery, and 140W USB type-C PD 3.1 fast charging are other features.
Speaking of the dimensions, the models measure 358.4 x 254.4 x 16.85~18.95 mm in size and weighs 1.6 kg. The laptops will only be available in Stellar Gray color choice.
Prestige 16 AI Evo B1MG
The 16 AI Evo B1MG model has Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 185H and Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 155H variants and runs on the Windows 11 Home / Windows 11 Pro operating systems. Again, the model supports up to 32GB of dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM and has two NVMe M.2 SSDs by PCIe Gen4 x4. It also equips itself with the Intel Arc Graphics.
For its display, it has a 16″ QHD+ (2560 x 1600 pixels) display panel. The device also comprises a single backlit keyboard(White), IR webcam, webcam shutter, Kensington Lock, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two 2W speakers, three microphones, 99.9Whr battery, and a 100W USB type-C PD 3.0 fast charge support.
This model also measures 358.4 x 254.4 x 16.85~18.95 mm and has a slightly lesser weight of 1.5 kg. Only the Stellar Gray color variant will be available.
Prestige 13 AI Evo A1MG
Two processor variants are available for the Prestige 13 AI Evo A1MG laptop too – “Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 155H” and “Intel Core Ultra 5 Processor 125H”, with Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro operating systems. It is coupled with up to 32GB LPDDR5 dual channel RAM and an NVMe M.2 SSD by PCIe Gen4(x4) and has Intel Arc Graphics onboard.
Coming to its display, it features a 13.3″ 2.8K (2880 x 1800 pixels) screen and is equipped with two 2W speakers and a 3 microphone array. A single backlit keyboard(White), fingerprint scanner, microSD card reader, IR webcam, webcam shutter, Kensington Lock, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 are also supported on the device. It also packs a 75Whr battery and supports a 65W Type-C PD fast charging feature.
It will come in Stellar Gray and Pure White colors, and will measure 299 x 210 x 16.9 mm in size, with a 900 gm weight.
Price and Availability
MSI will be officially unveiling all the new models in India at the start of next year in 2024, and it is expected to be made available for purchase in the month of March 2024. Also to add, the latest MSI AI Engine will be provided via a January update to the devices.
