Learn more about micro photography on Google Pixel 7 pro
Macro photography that produces dependable results and is simple to use is available with Google’s new Pixel 7 Pro camera.
Macro photography has produced some of the most distinctive and interesting images ever recorded by a camera. Without zooming, this photographic technique creates very close-ups of things. Traditional cameras use lenses capable of focussing on objects that are very close. Often just millimeters away, to record these photos.
Even now, there are add-on lenses available for smartphones whose cameras lack a macro feature. Since macro photography required these specialized optics. No phone manufacturer tried to include the functionality until 2007.
There are several smartphone choices available now for macro photography, so you don’t need to purchase a high-end phone to enjoy it. External lenses are no longer required.

Google Pixel 7 Pro Macro Focus
By physically putting the lens near the subject, macro photography is able to produce revealing, stunning photos. Since camera shaking is amplified at these focus distances, it requires steady hands or, ideally, the use of a tripod.
There are primarily two methods via which a phone can support macros. One is to add a separate macro camera to the phone’s array of many cameras. The alternative method involves changing the focus of an ultra-wide angle lens.
The latter is used by the new Pixel 7 Pro, which makes use of its 12MP ultrawide camera to provide macro photography.
A wide-angle camera is also included in the base Pixel 7. However, the Pixel 7 Pro has been improved with autofocus that can lock in on things as near as 3 centimeters away. This makes it possible to use the type of vivid visuals that is often only available in National Geographic specials. ( The features offered by the Pixel 7 series are detailed below.)
How to use the Google Pixel 7 Pro’s macro focus feature
The simplicity of use of the Macro Focus function on the Pixel 7 Pro is one of its most appealing qualities. Macro Focus may be activated by Simply putting the phone up close to an item. And the Pixel detects near proximity, effortlessly changes to the ultrawide camera and activates Macro Focus.
Tap the yellow flower icon in the bottom-center of the screen to disable Macro. Alternatively, you may just move the camera away from the subject, and the Macro will automatically turn off.
