Xiaomi Mi 10 5G’s alleged Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC variant, as well as Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro, are thought to have been spotted on China’s 3C certification platform. The listings show that all three handsets will come with 33W of fast charging help. Separately, Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing, who has been teasing information about the upcoming Redmi K40 series, has announced that the handsets will come with a centre-aligned, hole-punch monitor style. He also teased that the Redmi K0 series could come with the smallest monitor in the world.

In a further production of the Redmi K40 series, Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing announced via Weibo that the Redmi K40 series of smartphones would come with a hole-in display and that the cutout will be placed at the top of the screen. He goes on to state that Redmi’s target is to maintain the highest screen-to-body size, and that he wants his hole-punch cut out to be the shortest in the world. He also posted a poll asking his fans to select a marketing name for the hole-punch display style.
Last month, Weibing posted a screenshot of Weibo showing that the Redmi K40 battery lasts for more than a day at a single charge. The screenshot also showed the inclusion of a full HD+ monitor. Both the Redmi K40 and the Redmi K40 Pro are likely to launch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.
