Mi’s Civi 2 imitates the pill-shaped cutout on the iPhone 14 Pro
The launch date for the Xiaomi Civi 2 is set for September 27. The Civi 2 appears to be the first smartphone to imitate the pill-shaped cutout on the iPhone 14 Pro. Xiaomi has been teasing the device ahead of that date and has finally verified its design.
Next week, Xiaomi intends to launch its newest smartphone in China. The Xiaomi Civi 2 will have the distinction of being the first smartphone to imitate Apple’s centred pill design, which is seen on the iPhone 14 Pro versions. Instead, it will choose two 32-MP selfie cameras.
Rather than a hole punch, the Civi 2 will launch with a pill. Although the Galaxy S10+ has one in 2019 as well, this Android handset won’t be the first to have one. However, unlike the Samsung flagship, its pill is centred, taking design cues from the brand-new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max from Apple.
The Redmi K60 won’t provide anything resembling Apple’s Dynamic Island, as Xiaomi previously revealed, and the Civi 2 is similarly likely to avoid any such software-based trickery. As opposed to having one depth sensor like the Galaxy S10+, its pill will instead have two cameras, but two real camera sensors. Two 32 MP cameras, one with a wide-angle lens and the other with an ultra-wide-angle lens, will be housed inside the Civi 2’s pill.
“Front dual main camera, the strongest one in the history of Xiaomi,” the company posted on Weibo hours ago. 32 million professional main cameras, which allow you to capture excellent images in low light; and 32 million ultra wide-angle main cameras, which have a huge viewing angle and can see minute details. collaborate to produce a new “Bionic Eyes Atmosphere Portrait” using cutting-edge image technologies. Or if translating from Chinese to English, something similar.
The Xiaomi Civi series made its debut as a youthful lineup with an emphasis on design and camera performance, and the Civi 2 appears to carry on that tradition. For instance, the primary selfie camera has autofocus. The forthcoming mid-range phone will include a 50 MP IMX766 sensor at the back in addition to the two selfie cameras. The second back camera may be anticipated to be an ultra-wide-angle one, and the third shooter is probably a macro lens because it seems to have three rear cameras.
