The smartphone brand Motorola unveiled Motorola Edge 50 Ultra in India in the month of June this year and as recently confirmed the company has now launched a new smartphone under its Edge 50 series in India- Motorola Edge 50 5G. This latest smartphone has been part of the rumor mill for a month now and today the device has finally made its debut in India.
Motorola Edge 50: Specifications
The smartphone features a 6.67 inch pOLED curved display that offers 1.5k screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1900 nits peak brightness and arrives with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition SoC and equipped with Vapor Chamber Cooling system. It runs on Android 14 OS while the company promises 2 years of software updates and 3 years of security updates.
The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. It packs up a 50MP Sony-Lytia 700C main camera, a 10MP telephoto camera, and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. While on the front it features a 13MP selfie camera. It comes in Jungle Green, Pantone Peach Fuzz, and Koala Grey color options. The device arrives in single storage options- 8GB/256GB priced at Rs.27,999. The sale will start from 8th August via Flipkart. The company will be offering an Rs.2000 instant discount on Axis Bank and HDFC First Bank Credit card & EMI transactions or Rs.2000 exchange bonus.
