Alleged iQOO Z9 passes 3C certification, fast charging capabilities revealed
iQOO is expected to announce the iQOO Z9 series of smartphones in April in China. The lineup is likely to include three models, such as the iQOO Z9x, Z9, and Z9 Turbo. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, 7 Gen 3, and 8s Gen 3 chipsets are reportedly powering these devices, respectively. The 3C authority in China recently approved the Turbo model. Now, a new phone from the company has emerged in the database of the same certification platform. It seems that it could be the upcoming iQOO Z9.
The above image shows that a Vivo device with model number V2343A has been approved by China’s 3C regulatory body. It reveals that the device may ship with a V8073L0A1 power adaptor, which supports up to 80W fast charging. This aligns with previous leaks that have claimed that the Z9 will arrive with support for 80W rapid charging.
As per previous leaks, the iQOO Z9 will have a 6.8-inch OLED display with a flat design. It will offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is also said to pack a 6,000mAh battery.
The iQOO Z9x, on the other hand, is likely to feature an LCD panel that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120H refresh rate. It is also likely to pack a 6,000mAh battery, but there is no word about its fast charging capabilities. The Z9 Turbo is said to have a 6.78-inch OLED 1.5K 144Hz display, a 50-megapixel dual-camera system, 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
