Alleged Redmi Note 12T receives 3C certification, March launch likely

Redmi’s new mid-range phone has been certified by the 3C authority of China. A recent report claimed that the Redmi Note 12T series may go official in March in the home market. Hence, it appears that the newly certified device could be one of the Note 12T series phones.

As can be seen in the screengrab, a new Redmi phone with model number 23049RAD8C has been approved by the 3C. The listing reveals that it is a 5G-capable device and may ship with a charger that has the model number MDY-12-EF. The charger supports maximum charging speeds of 67W.

A Chinese tipster recently claimed that Redmi is planning to launch the Redmi Note 12T series by the end of March. The leak claimed that the series would be powered by the new Snapdragon 7-series chipset. Hence, it is being said that the Note 12T may feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 SoC. Here is a look at the rumored specifications of one of the Note 12T series phones.

Redmi Note 12T specifications

The Redmi Note 12T will feature a 6.67-inch OLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will run on MIUI 14-based Android 13. It will pack a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chip will be accompanied by up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage on the device. It will feature a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro/depth) triple camera unit.
