Alleged Redmi Pad Pro 3C certified, fast charging capabilities revealed
Redmi is all set to announce the Redmi Pad Pro tablet on April 10 in China. Ahead of the launch, the alleged tablet appeared in the database of the 3C certification platform. The listing has revealed the fast-charging capabilities of the device.
As can be seen in the above screenshot, a new Xiaomi tablet with model number 2405CRPFDC has surfaced in the database of the 3C certification platform. The listing suggests that the device will ship with an MDY-16-ED charger that supports up to 33W fast charging.
At present, there is no clarity about the moniker of the 2405CRPFDC tablet. Given that it comes with a 33W charger, it appears to be a mid-range tablet from the brand.
To recall, the Redmi Pad and Pad SE tablets that have been launched in the past feature an 8,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The Redmi Pad Pro is already confirmed to feature a 10,000mAh battery. Hence, it is likely that the 2405CRPFDC, which has appeared in the 3C certification database, could be the Pad Pro.
Redmi has already confirmed that the Pad Pro has a 12.1-inch LCD panel that offers a 2.5K resolution and it runs on HyperOS. It will come in three shades, such as green, blue, and grey.
Reports have revealed that Poco is working on its first tablet with a similar 2405CPCFBG model number. Hence, it is likely that the upcoming Poco tablet could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad Pro.
