Another Honor 200 series phone receives 3C certification in China
Honor is reportedly working on the Honor 200 series of mid-range phones for China. Recently, an upcoming Honor phone, which is believed to be one of the Honor 200 series phones, received approval from the 3C certification platform in China. Now, the same platform has approved what appears to be another phone from the same lineup.
The Honor 200 series is likely to include two models: the Honor 200 and the Honor 200 Pro. Earlier this week, an Honor phone bearing the model number ELP-AN00 was observed with a 100W fast charger. Now, a new Honor smartphone with the model number ELI-AN00 has surfaced in the 3C database. This new device, likely belonging to the Honor 200 family, has also been spotted with a 100W rapid charger. Currently, it remains uncertain which of these models is the standard version and which is the Pro variant.
The Honor 200 series is expected to debut in May in China and is likely to rival the likes of the Oppo Reno 12 series, the Vivo S19 series, and the Huawei Nova 13 lineup. As far as the Honor 200 and 200 Pro are concerned, both are expected to feature a quad-curved OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and high-frequency dimming.
The Pro variant may feature a dual punch-hole for housing two front-facing cameras. Probably, the standard model may feature a single front-facing camera. Speculation suggests that the Pro version might incorporate a Snapdragon 8-series chipset. Honor is also expected to announce the Magic Flip, a clamshell-style foldable phone, in June, followed by the Magic V3 in July.
