Apple officially unveils 7th Gen iPad Air and 11th Gen iPad in India and global markets

Two days back Apple CEO, Tim Cook officially teased the launch of a new Air product and the company has yesterday officially unveiled its 7th Gen iPad Air which comes with an M3 chip. Apart from this Apple has also introduced its 11th Gen iPad. Let’s dive in to know detailed information related to these newly launched devices.

Specifications

The device arrives with two display sizes: 11 inch and 13 inch. It sports a Retina True Tone screen and offers 500 nits brightness. It is powered by an M3 chip that is said to be 2x faster compared to the iPad Air with M1 and up to 3.5x faster than the iPad Air with A14 Bionic. M3 chip brings Apple’s advanced graphics architecture to iPad Air. The users can enjoy even more AI capabilities in iPadOS.

This M3 chip is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512 GB/1 TB storage. The 11 inch variant is backed by a 7,606 mAh battery while 13 inch variant is backed by a 9075 mAh battery. This all-new iPad Air packs up a 12MP front and back camera. It runs on iPad OS 18.3.1. Other features include- Touch ID, 5G, eSIM, WiFi 6e, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C port, Display port, Stereo speakers, and Apple Pencil 2 support. The 11 inch variant measures 247.6×178.5×6.1mm while 13 inch variant measures 280.6×214.9×6.1mm.

Apple has also unveiled a new Magic keyboard for iPad Air (2025) that comes in White color and is priced at $269 (11 inch) and $319 (12 inch) respectively.

Apple has also updated the iPad with double starting storage and an A16 chip. Compared to the previous generation, the updated iPad with A16 is 30% faster while it is also claimed that users will see up to 50% improvement in overall performance when compared to iPad with A13 Bionic.

iPad sports 10.9 inch Liquid Retina screen that offers 2360×1640 pixel resolution and 500 nits brightness. It offers 4GB RAM and 128GB /256GB/512GB storage options. The device is backed by a 28.93Whr battery that offers up to 10 hours of WiFi browsing. It packs up 12MP front and rear cameras. The device runs on iPad OS 18.3.1 but without Apple Intelligence. Other features include- Touch ID, Stereo speakers, eSIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C (2.0), Display Port and Apple Pencil 2 support. It measures 248.6×179.5x7mm and weighs 477g (WiFi)/481g(5).

It comes in Blue, Pink, Silver, and Yellow color options. The sale for the device will start from 12th March.
