ASUS ROG Phone 8 Certified by Thailand’s NBTC Authority Ahead of its Expected Launch
ASUS’ ROG Phone 8 series is soon going to be unveiled next month globally, and the vanilla model of the series has also now received the NBTC certification from Thailand followed by the pro device.

ASUS ROG Phone 8 – NBTC Certification
The ROG Phone 8 smartphone has been listed on the NBTC database with the model number – “ASUS_AI2401_C”, and has received the certification with the certificate number “B38671-23”. The upcoming device has also been categorized as a cellular mobile itself, which will be supporting 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G network connectivity.
To add, previously, both the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro smartphones were spotted on the Geekbench and the Bluetooth SIG databases as well. The two devices will also be supporting Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.4.
The Taiwanese consumer electronics maker, ASUS, has already announced that the brand will be conducting its Transcendence virtual launch event, just a day ahead of the CES 2024 live event scheduled to be conducted in Las Vegas. Both events will be venues where the ROG Phone 8 series will be showcased and unveiled before ASUS fans.
The brand also revealed the rear panel design of the vanilla ROG Phone 8 device, stating that it will be sporting a new camera system at its back. The rear panel image also pointed to a triple camera unit along with an LED flashlight housed within a projected camera module. The latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is also going to power both the ROG Phone 8 series smartphones.
