ASUS ROG Phone 8 Ultimate Receives China’s 3C Certification: Charging Spec Revealed

The Taiwanese tech company, ASUS, is expected to unveil its next ROG Phone 8 series devices in the first half of next year and now, one of the upcoming smartphones of the series has been certified by the 3C certification authority of China.

ASUS ROG Phone 8 Ultimate – 3C Certification

The upcoming ROG Phone 8 Ultimate smartphone from ASUS has been listed on the 3C certification database with the model number – “ASUS_AI2401_A”, along with a charging adapter bearing the model number – “NCA65UH-20032500”. The certification confirms that the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate will be supporting a 65W wired fast charge feature, and the smartphone will be a 5G device.

The ROG Phone 8 Ultimate smartphone was previously also spotted on the Geekbench database as well, and the device was said to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset from Qualcomm. The smartphone had attained a single core and multi core score of 2,213 points and 7,048 points respectively on the benchmark platform, and was revealed to have the Android 14 operating system out of the box and a 16GB RAM variant.

Late last month, the brand officially confirmed that all of its ROG Phone 8 series devices will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Apart from the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate, the series will be including the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro smartphones too.
