Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra shows up on WPC certification ahead of its 14th March Launch
Asus has recently confirmed that it will be launching the Zenfone 11 Ultra with AI capabilities on March 14th. And now just ahead of its launch we at The Tech Outlook, have spotted this smartphone on the WPC(Wireless Power Consortium) certification website.
Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra WPC Certification
This smartphone has been listed on the WPC certification with the QI-ID of QI-20973 and Model Number ASUS_AI2401_H. The certification shows it was certified on the 1st of March 2024. According to the listing, the maximum load power is 12W. It would be based on QI version 1.3.3, not the latest QI2.
The front look, as revealed through certification, aligns with previously leaked images. It is expected to come with a 6.78-inch wide display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz.
The smartphone has obtained certifications from EEC, Geekbench, and SDPPI. The Geekbench listing indicates the possibility of it featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Previous leaks suggest it may offer up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS4.0 storage.
However, it’s rather confusing because earlier leaks hinted at 15W wireless charging support, and certification suggests it might come with 12W wireless charging. This is noteworthy, especially considering the previous version, Zenfone 10 Ultra, featured 15W wireless charging. As the launch of this smartphone is just a few days away, it will be worth monitoring for any clarifications on this matter.
