Last month we spotted a CMF smartphone on India’s BIS certification website hinting that the CMF might soon launch its first smartphone in the Indian region. Though the moniker was not disclosed later a tipster on the X platform revealed that the device would be known as CMF Phone (1) while he also tipped some key specs.
Well, the launch timeline of this device is still under the wraps but @91mobiles has today exclusively revealed a few of the specs and Indian pricing of the CMF Phone (1).
CMF Phone (1): Specifications & Pricing
As per the report, the device will be arriving with a plastic body while the front could have Gorilla Glass protection. It is said to be available in orange, white, and black color options. The design revealed in the report is similar to the one that was previously revealed online.
It is said that the device could be priced at around Rs.12,000 in India. Since CMF is already known for introducing budget-friendly devices, the same is expected from its upcoming smartphone. Now if we talk about the specs, the smartphone is said to arrive with a 6.5-inch display, according to the report it could be powered by a Dimensity 5G chipset while earlier it was tipped to arrive with MediaTek Dimensity 7030 Pro SoC.
The device may come with Nothing OS but full features will not be available. It is said that the company may offer 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates. CMF Phone (1) could be backed by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The phone is also said to pack up a single camera though the specification is not known yet.
