Even the rain won’t stop OnePlus Ace 2 Pro users to use it without causing touch failure

The OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro in China on 16th August at 2:30 PM(12:00PM IST). Recently, OnePlus revealed the battery specs of this phone in a Weibo post and now it seems to have dropped a few more specs of the phone on its Weibo page and about its exclusive technology.

Rain Water Touch technology

The OnePlus shared a video on Weibo in which the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro display can be seen responding to the touch in simulated rain. The video also shows an iPhone failing to respond effectively to touch under the same conditions. Along with this video, OnePlus wrote ” Based on the world’s exclusive “Rainwater Touch” technology based on “Consonance Touch”, it has brought a dramatic improvement to the touch experience in various wet-hand situations”.

Its “Rain Water Touch” technology is to lead the industry with a larger margin and will allow users to operate it smoothly even under rain and splash. As per the OnePlus post, this is the world’s first exclusive self-developed “rainwater touch” technology.

Let’s get to know about some of the specs that OnePlus has recently revealed about the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro smartphone.

OnePlus Ace 2 Pro expected specs

As per the recent post, this smartphone sports a brand new 1.5K Consonance touch screen and the world’s first BOE Q9+ Luminescent material. It will come with a 6.74-inch flexible OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 2772×1240 pixels resolution, 450 pixels density, and 1600 nits of peak brightness. It will come with a curved HDR10+ display that has a narrow 2.17mm Ultra narrow bezel.

An earlier post about this smartphone revealed that it will be powered by a massive 5,000 mAh battery with a SUPERVOOC S full link power management chip for super long battery life and long-lasting experience. It comes with support for 150 W super flash charging that will charge the battery in just 17 minutes from 1% to 100%.

It’s also confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with 24 GB RAM. The rest of the features still remain under wrap and is expected to come in the upcoming days through its official Weibo page. If we talk about some of the expected specs of this phone it can come with 50 IMX890 primary camera with 8MP and 2MP camera on the rear side. The front side of the phone can feature a 16 MP selfie shooter. It is likely to feature the OnePlus iconic alert slider, an in-display fingerprint sensor along with dual stereo speakers.

This has set the limit high for other competing brands. And users will love to see it in other markets also in the upcoming days which the company has not yet announced.
