[Exclusive] Motorola Edge 40 5G press renders, price, and specifications leaked
Motorola is expected to soon launch the Edge 40 series of flagship phones in the global market. A recent report revealed the entire specifications of the Edge 40 and Edge 40 Pro. Several sources have also leaked the renders of the Pro model, which is said to be a rebranded version of China’s Moto X40 smartphone. The Edge 40 will be an entirely new phone for the global market. Today, we have teamed up with reputed tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) to give the first look at the Motorola Edge 40. Without further ado, let’s have a look at its design.
Motorola Edge 40 renders, design
The Motorola Edge 40 will arrive in four colours: Eclipse Black, Nebula Green, Lunar Blue, and Viva Magenta. The leaked renders showcase the black and green variants of the phone. Both models can be seen sporting a leather back.
The overall design of the Edge 40 is not too different from its Pro version. The vanilla model has a curved-edge AMOLED panel on the front, and its back panel has a square-shaped camera island, which houses two cameras and a pair of LED flash units. A closer look at the camera module confirms that the Edge 40 is equipped with an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary camera. Motorola’s batwing logo can also be seen on the back panel of the device.
The right side of the Edge 40 phone features volume buttons and a power button, whereas its left spine is barren. The bottom side of the device has a speaker grille, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a SIM slot. None of the leaked renders show the top edge of the Edge 40. It is speculated that the Edge 40 will also come in an acrylic-backed version.
Motorola Edge 40 price
