  • People stream online content on their phones for long hours which overworks phone’s processor causing the phone to heat up
  • Downloading a problematic app or an app with a bug also increases the phone temperature too quickly
  • More sun or heat exposure or water damage might result in overheating of the phone you are using and also can drain your phone’s battery quickly even if you use it for a less time.
  • Bugs and older software may cause the apps present in your phone to take in more energy to run smoothly which can cause the smartphones to overheat.
  • Android phones can also overheat due to exposure to malware or viruses
