Find X7, X7 Ultra, Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Version models tipped, series may not include Find X7 Pro

Initial reports claimed that the OPPO Find X7 series will include two models, the Find X7 and the Find X7 Pro. Rumours that appeared in the past few weeks claimed that the lineup will include a third model dubbed the Find X7 Ultra. Now, an interesting Weibo post (now deleted) by tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the Find X7 series will not include the Find X7 Pro model.

In a previous statement, DCS claimed that the Find X7 Pro and X7 Ultra, both running on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, would have nearly identical specifications. The distinguishing factors highlighted were a smaller battery housed in the Pro model and exclusive two-way satellite communication support offered solely by the Ultra variant. However, the latest Weibo post by DCS tells a different story.

As mentioned in the above screenshot, the Find X7 lineup will have three models: the Find X7, the Find X7 Ultra, and the Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communications versions. As evident by its name, the third model will exclusively support satellite communication. All three models are tipped to house a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging.

The Ultra models will support 50W wireless charging. The rear camera setup of the Ultra variants will have a one-inch camera as the primary lens and a pair of periscope telephoto cameras. As per reports, the camera setup will include a 50-megapixel LYT-900 main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 50-megapixel IMX890 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel IMX858 periscope zoom unit with 6x optical zoom.

It is speculated that the Find X7 series’ launch is not too far away. It may break cover in the second week of January 2024.
