From expected specs to design, launch timeline to competitors all about the upcoming iQOO 11s

Vivo subbrand iQOO is gearing up for the launch of iQOO 11s which is expected to arrive with some of the flagship-level features. From the timeline to the key specs, all have already been tipped through various reports and leaks around this smartphone. Before taking you through its key specs and launch timeline, let’s first get to know about the design of this much-awaited smartphone.

Design

Ahead of the launch of this smartphone Jia Jingdong, vice-president and general manager of brand and product strategy for Vivo China, posted a photo of the smartphone on the Chinese social media platform, Weibo, thus confirming the upcoming launch. Some of the key information related to the design has come out through this post.

The rear side image of the device reveals that the device has got a large rectangular raised camera module that houses a triple camera unit which is exactly similar to what we saw in iQOO 11. Change is reflected in the colour while the overall chassis design is likely to remain the same.

Expected specs of iQOO 11s

The Digital Chat Station named Tipster revealed some of the key specs of this device through a Weibo post. According to the post, this smartphone prototype featured Vivo V2 ISP though now it appears that the final version will be equipped with an independent display chip. It is likely to be the first smartphone to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 chipset. Rumors claim that this smartphone can come with an E6 AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

As far as its storage is concerned it is said to arrive with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is expected to pack a 4,700 mAh battery that supports 200 W fast charging. As of now, iQOO 11 comes with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 120 W fast charging.

Timeline

Recently we reported about the launch timeline of iQOO 11s that came out through a Chinese tipster. According to the tipster, this smartphone will debut in early July. Another tipster claimed that it will go on sale on July 8. It will be competing with the likes of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro, and the Redmi K60 Ultra which are all expected to arrive in July in China.
