Geekbench reveals Vivo X90 Pro+ with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 

The listings of Geekbench regarding Vivo X90 Pro+ have appeared. The appearance has made the official dates for announcements be expected sooner.

As reported by pricebaba.com, the model numbers of the X90 series of smartphones for China, India, and global markets have been revealed. Along with the reveal came the information that model number V2227A belongs to the X90 Pro+.

Since then there have been rumours about the X90 series and the smartphones about the chipset they might contain. Vivo X90 and X90 Pro could be the first phones to feature the Dimensity 9200 chip. The X90 Pro+ is said to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The Geekbench listings gave us some speculations that the new Vivo X90 Pro+ has been spotted with its V2272 model number.

  • The device is to be powered by an octa-core processor by Qualcomm.
  • Vivo X90 Pro+ will have the upcoming SD8G2 chip onboard.
  • The listing also states that the Vivo X90 Pro+ has 12GB of RAM and Android 13 OS, which is most likely to be skinned with the all-new OriginOS 3 UI.

Other key specifications of Vivo X90 Pro+ :-

  • The device will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED E6 LTPO panel with curved edges and a centrally aligned punch-hole.
  •  It will have a resolution of Quad HD+ and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz.
  • On the front, it will have a 32-megapixel front camera, and its rear camera setup will be headlined by an OIS-enabled 1-inch Sony IMX989 50-megapixel camera.
  • There will be a 48-megapixel ultra-wide Sony IMX598 lens, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX578 portrait lens with OIS, and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64A periscope zoom camera with OIS.
  • The X90 Pro+ will come equipped with Vivo V2 ISP and ZEISS optics.
  • Up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
  • It will come with a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W charging.
  • Ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner under the screen and 50W wireless charging.
