Get to know about the OnePlus Nord 3 5G AnTuTu score and CPU Throttling Test results ahead of its launch
Recently, OnePlus confirmed the launch date of the OnePlus Nord CE 3, OnePlus Nord 3 and the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R, which is on 5th July 2023. Some of the features have come out while some are still making their way out in the form of rumours and reports. Recently a user named Muhammed Salim shared a hands-on image of the OnePlus Nord 3 5G on Twitter that looked really nice because of its colour and design. Along with hands-on images, the user has also shared the AnTuTu score of this smartphone which came out to be 882023.
Later he shared the image showing the results of a CPU throttling test performed on the OnePlus Nord 3 5G smartphone. The image shows that the CPU throttled 70% of its max performance with Max 268,914 GPS. This smartphone is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset.
Before we can analyse these numbers, let’s get to know about CPU Throttling.
What is throttling?
When the CPU is constantly under heavy load due to tasks like games, it starts to heat. This heat makes the CPU work slower because of this resistance and slows down the performance. This slowdown of performance is called Throttling. And the same is applicable to the GPU. This slowdown is done in order to reduce the high temperature that can be damaging to the parts. The CPU Throttling Test app runs some CPU-intensive tasks that make CPU throttle due to the thermals that it produces.
We get to see three colours in the graph in which green represents normal CPU running, yellow represents that it has begun to throttle and red means it’s fully throttling.
