Google Pixel 8 design renders revealed ahead of it’s expected to be unveiled at the Google I/O 2023

Every year Google introduces its next generation of smartphones at Google I/O and this year also the company is expected to do the same. Google Pixel 8 has been rumored to make its debut soon but the company has still not spoken about anything related to this yet. There is a high chance that this smartphone could be showcased at Google I/O which is scheduled for May 10, 2023.

Though the launch is still a few months later, but MySmartPrice has collaborated with tipster Steve H.McFly who goes by @OnLeaks on Twitter, for the Pixel 8 design renders.

As per the leaked renders, the design changes of the Pixel 8 are quite noticeable in comparison to the Pixel 7 series. It is said that the upcoming smartphone will be featuring a dual camera setup along with LED flash outside the oval-shaped camera module. The device will be rounded from the corners and it will come with a small display that is expected to measure 5.8 inch.

Also, it was revealed that this smartphone will somewhat measure around 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9 mm and if we include the thick camera visor it will measure 12 mm. The device will feature a flat-screen unlike Google Pixel 7 and will have a hole-punch cutout at the top center.

The power and volume buttons will be present on the right edge of the smartphone and are supposed to arrive with a metal chassis. The USB Type –C Port along with cutouts for the primary speaker and microphone are revealed to be at the bottom edge.

This smartphone was also tipped earlier to launch with the upcoming Google Tensor G3 chipset. Other specifications of this upcoming smartphone are still hidden and maybe as the launch approaches, we may get a clear idea about the specs. Alongside Google Pixel 8, Google Pixel 8 Pro is also expected to be unveiled at the Google I/O event which is to be held in May 2023. Though the official announcement about the launch of these smartphones is still not made by Google.
