Google Pixel 8a spotted on IMDA certification website; key specs leaked online

Google officially unveiled its latest Pixel 8 series last year and now the company is rumored to launch the Pixel 8a smartphone soon in the market. It is expected that the device could make its debut at Google’s next I/O event which is said to take place in May. Lately, a lot of information regarding the Pixel 8a smartphone has surfaced online while the renders of the device have also leaked.

Ahead of the rumored launch of the Pixel 8a smartphone, The Tech Outlook has spotted the device on the IMDA certification website with model number G6GPR.

 

 

The listing revealed that the device will support 5G, WiFi, NFC, and Bluetooth connectivity options. Previously Google Pixel 8a bearing G8HHN, GKV4X, G6GPR, and G576D model numbers was also spotted on the FCC certification website.

Apart from this, a recent report by @GSMArena has revealed a few of the specs of the upcoming Pixel 8a smartphone. Let’s take a look.

Google Pixel 8a: Specifications

As per the report, the device will feature a display that offers 1400 nits of peak HDR brightness and 120 Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by the Tensor G3 chipset just like the Pixel 8 series. While the device is revealed to arrive with the same camera specs as the Pixel 7a. This means that it will pack up a dual rear camera setup that includes 64MP and 13MP camera sensors while on the front it is said to sport a 13MP selfie camera. It is also said to arrive with a DisplayPort output port.

As per the report, Pixel 7a is available in 21 countries while Pixel 8a will launch in those countries along with that it is said to be made available in Czechia, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
