Google Pixel Fold confirmed to launch on May 10th along with Pixel 7A
While I was writing an article about the Google Pixel 7A price reveal, Google suddenly announced that the Pixel Fold will also be launching on May 10th. This is the first foldable smartphone from Google, and it will debut at the Google I/O event. While the Pixel 7A is set to launch in India on May 11th, there is no word yet from the tech giant about its availability in India.

We noticed a fun fact in the new promo released by the tech giant – they added a disclaimer stating that the Pixel Fold is “coming soon” and has not yet been authorized by the Federal Communications Commission or other regulators. This means that the device cannot be sold or distributed until it receives the necessary legal authorizations. The Pixel Fold was recently spotted on the FCC certification website, revealing two model numbers. It seems that Google wants to keep the specs under wraps until the launch, which may be hurried.
Since the Pixel Fold has not yet appeared on the BIS certification website, it seems that only the Google Pixel 7A will be launched in India at the Google I/O event. However, the Pixel Fold will be available in Europe, Canada, and the US. The pricing for the Pixel Fold has not been revealed yet, but the Pixel 7A is expected to cost around 509 Euros in Europe.
